Water Fun

Audrey Bernadette visited Portland for her friend Samuel Stephen's 1st birthday party. A highlight of the trip for her was the water park at Blue Lake. She was a bit shy about it at the beginning, but soon realized water is fun beyond the bathtub. Here are a few photos.

StairMaster

Audrey Bernadette is not quite crawling yet, though she is very close. She will take a couple of crawls but then decides she is much quicker at scootching along - kind of like an inchworm - so she gives up the crawl and inchworms across the floor.

However, much to our surprise, this did not stop her from fairly easily mastering stairs. Here are a couple of videos of Audrey going up two stairs at Grama's house.

Summer in the Outdoors - So Much to Explore!

Here are a few photos of what I've been doing the past couple of weekends.

Discovering all the fun things to find in the grass at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle.

What is over here . . . more grass and weeds to taste test. Speaking of sampling greens, this week we learned that I like asparagus and zucchini.

Getting the tent set up at Middle Fork Campground in the Mount-Baker Snoqualmie Forest.

This was my first time hiking in the baby-backpack. I really liked it. No fusses at all.

We also so we had some fun hiking upstream. The water was too cold for me!
